And if you have any VERY large plastic bottles or containers with lids please bring them along to the shop before the big day...! Also, come along to row in the traditional 'little' rowing boats each weekday from 5.30pm and get involved on the water.
April, July and September 2010: Join us on our quarterly beach clean of Scoble Beach in the Salcombe estuary, organised in conjunction with the Marine Conservation Society. Watch our blog for dates for upcoming events.
You could hire a boat for a day when it is high tide at lunch time and visit the Crabshell pub in Kingsbridge for a drink or the Millbrook Inn up at South Poole creek for a tasty bite to eat.
Why not kit the family out with crabbing lines and a bucket and try crabbing off Victoria Quay. Hungry crabs like the taste of mackerel bait or bacon rind!
Take a boat across to East Portlemouth beach for a cuppa at the Venus café and take a stroll to Gara Rock along the coast path.
Take mackerel lines up 'the bag' and try catching some fish for your dinner....have a look at our blog for yummy mackerel recipes, ideal for the BBQ.
